This is the country in which I live. That’s five, seven blocks away from my house. That’s two or three blocks away from my boyfriend’s building.
This shit happens everyday. Nobody cares.
This guy had a gun inside the truck (because he was an bodyguard of some sorts), two thieves tried to take it away, at gunpoint. He shot one of them, the other ran away and shot him. He killed the owner of the truck and ran away. They tried to RUN HIM OVER WITH THEIRS.
I go to that pharmacy almost every weekend…
One day it might be me, my family, someone I love.
I just hope that day never comes.
